What a fantastic day we had at our school athletics! A huge thank you to Whaea Lianne for all her hard mahi organising such a successful event. Everything ran like clockwork!

Congratulations to all our tamariki who gave it their all. We saw so much determination, perseverance and a wonderful willingness to give things a go. We were particularly impressed by the encouragement and support our tamariki showed one another throughout the day.

It was also wonderful to see so many parents and wider whānau supporting our children and enjoying the day together. 

Certificates from today's events will be presented at a special assembly next Thursday, 12 November.

Interschool Athletics

Interschool Athletics will be held on Thursday, 19 November. Notices will be sent home shortly to those students selected to represent One Tree Point School. 

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Halloween Disco such a fantastic evening! It was awesome to see so many tamariki dressed up in their costumes, having so much fun with their friends. Events like these are such a special part of school life and simply wouldn't be possible without the many willing hands who give their time and energy to make them happen. We are so grateful for the wonderful support of our PTA, parents and whānau!

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Whaea Gemma and Whaea Rochelle, who have co-chaired our PTA this year. This has been one of our most successful fundraising years ever, and we couldn't be more grateful for the incredible amount of time, energy and enthusiasm they have put into organising events and supporting our school.

Their hard mahi, alongside the wonderful support of our PTA members and school community, has made a real difference for our tamariki.

Next year, Gemma and Rochelle will be handing over the reins to a new committee. I strongly encourage anyone who has thought about getting involved to consider joining this friendly and supportive group. Our PTA plays such an important role in our school, and it's also a great way to meet other whānau, have some fun and make a positive contribution to our school community.
